A complete jewelry rendering studio that runs in your browser

RenderMyJewels is a real-time 3D studio for jewelry that opens in a web browser. Upload a CAD file, dress it in realistic metals and stones, light it, pose it and export product images and turntable videos without installing anything or waiting for a render queue.

Try it on your own files

Free plan, unlimited uploads, no card needed.

Real-time preview

What you see in the viewport is what you export, so you never wait to find out whether the lighting works.

Unlimited uploads

Keep your whole CAD archive in one private library on every plan.

Jewelry material library

98 metals and 58 gemstones with physically based reflections, refraction and fire.

Images and video

Still export sizes from 1K to 8K and 360° or multi-angle videos up to 4K, in eight aspect ratios.

Runs on everyday laptops

Four renderer quality levels keep the studio smooth on older machines and sharp on strong ones.

Why a browser studio changes the job

Most jewellers who want good product images have had two options. Book a photographer once the piece exists, or learn a desktop renderer that needs a powerful computer, a licence and a lot of patience. RenderMyJewels takes a third route. The rendering engine runs inside your browser and uses the graphics chip in the computer you already own. You see the finished look while you work, and every export is taken from that same live picture and saved at the pixel size and aspect ratio you pick.

That changes how fast you can move. A new design can be uploaded, lit and exported in the time it takes to write its product description. You can show a customer the piece before it is cast, and you can change the metal or the centre stone without booking another shoot.

What happens when you open a model

Upload a GLB, glTF, STL, OBJ, Rhino 3DM or FBX file and it lands in your private model library with a preview image. Open it and the studio loads the geometry, reads the part names and sorts the parts into metal and stones. Layers or meshes named Diamond, Gem, Stone, Ruby, Pavé or Halo are treated as stones, and everything else starts as metal. From there you choose materials for each part, set the lighting, the background and the ground, pose the piece and export.

What you need to run it

A recent desktop or laptop with a modern browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari is enough. The studio has four renderer quality levels, from Draft for older laptops to Ultra for strong graphics cards, so you can keep the viewport smooth while you set up a shot and raise the quality before you export.

Editing is designed for a mouse or trackpad on a larger screen. Share links are different. They open on phones too, so customers can spin your piece on their own device.

One practical tip: close other heavy browser tabs before you export long or 4K videos and very large stills. The studio renders on your own graphics chip and builds every file inside your browser, so giving it room keeps exports smooth.

From upload to first render in about five minutes

  1. Upload a file from your library, or drop a whole folder of models at once.
  2. Open the model in the studio. Stones that are named in your CAD file get gem materials straight away.
  3. Choose a metal and a stone, then try two or three lighting environments.
  4. Pick a background and a ground. Pure white with a soft shadow is a safe first choice for shop listings.
  5. Choose a pose, check the framing and export a PNG or JPEG in the size your shop needs.

Once you have a look you like, keep the same lighting, background and camera distance for the rest of the collection. Every product page will look as if it came from one shoot.

How it compares with photography and desktop renderers

Photography still wins when you need to show one finished piece exactly as it is, with every casting detail. Rendering wins before the piece exists, for colourways you have not made, and for consistency across hundreds of products. Desktop renderers give very deep control, but they usually need a powerful workstation, a licence per seat and a long learning curve.

RenderMyJewels keeps the controls jewellers actually use and leaves out the rest, so a designer, a merchandiser or a sales person can produce catalogue images without a 3D specialist. For the numbers behind that choice, read our guide to jewelry rendering costs and the comparison of rendering and photography.

Your files stay private

Uploads are stored privately in your account and are never shown to other users. Only one device can be signed in to an account at a time, so if someone signs in elsewhere, the older session ends. You can delete any model in one click, restore it from the trash for 30 days, or delete it for good.

Start free, upgrade when you need AI

Every plan includes unlimited model uploads and the full browser studio, with every export size, video option and saved-angle export, and no RenderMyJewels watermark on your files. The Free plan also includes 3 AI images a month so you can try the AI tools. Premium raises the allowance to 150 AI images and 5 AI videos a month, adds the embeddable 3D viewer and removes the small badge from share pages, for $49 a month or $490 a year. See pricing for the details, take the product tour, or open the sample ring and try the studio right now.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Upload

Add a GLB, glTF, STL, OBJ, 3DM or FBX file, or a whole folder, to your private library.

  2. 2

    Assign materials

Pick a metal and a stone. Parts named Diamond, Gem or Stone get gem materials automatically.

  3. 3

    Light and stage

Choose lighting for metal and stones, then a background and a ground.

  4. 4

    Pose

Pick one of the one-click poses or set your own angle and save it.

  5. 5

    Export

Download PNG or JPEG stills at sizes up to 8K, or a 360° WebM video up to 4K.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?
No. The studio runs in a modern browser on Windows, macOS or Linux. You only need an account, and the sample ring lets you try the studio before you upload your own file.
Will it run on my laptop?
Most laptops from the last several years handle it well. If the viewport feels slow, set Renderer quality to Draft or Balanced while you set up the shot, then raise it before you export.
Can I use it on a phone or tablet?
Editing works best with a mouse or trackpad on a larger screen. Share links and the 3D viewer open on phones, so customers can still turn your piece around on their own device.
Which file formats can I upload?
GLB, glTF, STL, OBJ, Rhino 3DM and FBX. Files can be up to 100 MB, or 200 MB for 3DM and FBX.
Is my design safe?
Your files are stored privately in your account. Nobody else can open them unless you create a share link, and you can switch any link off again whenever you like.
